From mellow jazz standards to blistering hard rock and thumpin' hiphop, Charly Bright covers the musical waterfront. Classically trained, Charly studied jazz theory with Lenny DeFranco and composition and orchestration at Temple University. He is proficient in keyboards, bass, guitar and drum programming, as well as instrumental and vocal arranging and producing.

Charly's first band, The Impossible Years, opened for many legendary new wave groups, including X, 999, The Plasmatics, The Cramps, and The Bloodless Pharoahs (Brian Setzer's first band). In addition, he composed the theme song for "Uncle Eddie's Ham Radio Live" comedy talk show on WNJC 1360 AM.

Charly Bright has worked solo, in duos, trios and larger bands, in venues as diverse as The Four Seasons, House of Blues, Delaware Park Casino, The Ritz-Carlton, and countless private parties and events. Upon joining The Chatterband in October 2013, Charly found a band of kindred spirits, and the fun just keeps on growing! on growing!
