I studied piano and trumpet in grade school and I am a graduate of Buck County Community College with a degree in musical performance on electric and upright bass. While I was in school I performed in small jazz, big band stage band and the pit orchestra for musical stage productions. Before college I performed in original rock bands and opened major recording acts in Philadelphia, Allentown and the surrounding tri-state area.
While I was in college I was in the road crew supplying audio and lighting support to local club bands. After college I performed with various club bands until I joined Bandstand at the end of 1985. We performed in Resorts International. Caesars, Bally’s and every other casino in Atlantic City while being voted top lounge act in 1988 by Atlantic City Magazine. Also Bandstand performed in many lounges and supper clubs in the Delaware Valley tri-state area during my over 25 years of membership.
